"Montgomery College Today" is a news magazine show about Montgomery College, a public, multicampus community college in Montgomery County, Maryland. Montgomery College serves nearly 60,000 students a year, through both credit and noncredit programs, in more than 100 areas of study. The show features stories about Montgomery College's own unique people, places and programs. In this segment, we take a look at Montgomery College anthropology students getting hands-on experience while on an archaeological dig in a Rockville, MD park.
Archaeology excavation is best known and most commonly used within the science of archaeology. In this sense it is the exposure, processing and recording of archaeological remains.
