Now join archaeologist & historian James Balme as he starts his investigation and research into river archaeology and his latest project to search the riverbed of the river Bollin in Cheshire as part of his ongoing investigations into the ancient activity in and around Warburton Village.
Already James has recovered a bronze Roman Bracelet and prehistoric flint tools from the layers of sediments that have built up in the river over the past 2000 - 3000 years proving that the river Bollin played a major part in ancient times.
